Our U17s kicked off the new 9-a-side league this evening with a loss to a very strong St Kevins side. The lads got a wake-up call in terms of the different pace of the game compared to the regular 15-a-side game. Overall this was a good learning curve for the lads who on the night were beaten by a much slicker team. Best on the night for St Nicholas GFC was Stevie Finnegan.
