St Nicholas 2-12 Glen Emmets 1-06 

The Nicks U16s booked a place in the Div 3A Final Saturday with an emphatic second half display tonight in Jimmy Pentony Park. Playing into a stiff wind in the first half the Nicks were 4 down before Adam Rooney registered our first point. This was followed up by a brilliant goal from Cabhainn to give the Nicks a foot hold in the game. The Emmets scored the next 1-02 but the rest of the half was dominated by the Nicks. Paudi won some vital possession and kicked 2 monster points with Keane Reynolds adding a second goal to make it was all square at the break.

The second half was all one way traffic from 1 to 17 the Nicks were superb. Fionn, Tadgh, Harry, Ethan Shah'ainn, Sean Connor, Alex, Kyle, Matt, Ciaran but the Man of the match was a toss up between Alan Donnelly and Josh Hoey both were outstanding in what was a brilliant performance from the whole team.

The final is in Darver Saturday at 12.30. Well done everyone tonight and thanks for all the support. UP THE NICKS
