This morning with had the visit of Minister of State for Transport, Tourism and Sport Brendan Griffin along with local TD Fergus O'Dowd for the official hand over of the sports capital grant for our new development. This grant, of €108,000, along with our Car Raffle and upcoming quiz night are massive in helping with the building of our new clubhouse. While here Minister Griffin helped Chairperson Dessie McDonald turn the sod for phase 1 of the build. Things are really looking up at St Nicholas GFC.
