St. Nicholas had a comfortable victory over Dowdallshill on Saturday evening in Jimmy Pentony Park. Both teams exchanged scores early on, Philip Kirwan for the Nicks, but this was the last time the sides were level. Scores from the nicks forward line of Kavanagh and Paudi Downey along with  a fine solo effort from wing back Dylan o’Rourke had the home side with a comfortable lead at the break.

The impressive Rian Farrell hit the back of the net early for St.Nicholas which ended the game as a contest. Three quick-fire points from play for Con Sheehan ensured the two league points stayed in Rathmullen.
