John Mitchells 2-13 v 0-10 St.Nicholas

Ht 0-7 v 0-8

John Mitchells continued their excellent league form with another home win in Páirc Sean Misteal on Thursday evening. The Nicks put it up to the league leaders in the first half with Hayden Quinn and Lee Kavanagh a constant thorn in the Mitchels side. Both teams exchanged scores early on and midway through the half the nicks were up by three. Fionn Meagher, Paudi Downey and Kavanagh all on the scoresheet. A late fight back from the home team had them one behind at the break.

An early for John Mitchell's set the tone for the second half as they extended their lead. The impressive Con Sheehan and Downey with the only scores for the visitors in the second half. A late goal finished a comprehensive victory for the league leaders.
